My journey in psychiatry is rooted in a deep commitment to understanding the mind and providing compassionate, evidence-based care. As a Consultant Psychiatrist in General Adult Psychiatry, I am dedicated to supporting individuals aged 18 and over, both within the NHS in Islington and privately in Bloomsbury at The Child and Family Practice. My work is informed by extensive clinical experience, research, and specialised therapeutic training, enabling a comprehensive, person-centred approach to mental health care.

My qualifications include:
MBBS
Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery: This foundational degree enables me to practise as a medical doctor.
MRCPsych
Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists: A postgraduate certification affirming my commitment to high standards in UK psychiatry.
MSc in Mental Health Sciences Research (Distinction)
Achieved at University College London (UCL), this degree highlights my dedication to advancing mental health research.
PGDipCAT
Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Analytic Therapy: Specialised training that integrates psychological approaches into my practice.
Experience and Approach
With a broad understanding of conditions such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, and obsessive compulsive disorder, my approach combines empathy with evidence-based treatments. I draw on experience across varied clinical settings to provide care tailored to each individual, focusing on both immediate relief and long-term well-being.
Research and Publications
Beyond clinical practice, I am dedicated to innovation in mental health. My research, focusing on technology’s role in treating severe mental illness, has been published in respected journals such as The Lancet Psychiatry and BJPsych Advances. My research has been presented at Royal College of Psychiatry International Congress and the House of Lords.
